Carriage House was amazing.  The location was great -- quiet, close drive to town, quick walk to the lake, and plenty of parking.  Sue greeted us at the door and made us feel right at home.  The patio was a wonderful spot to eat a delicious, homemade breakfast (the scones alone were worth the visit).  Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I stayed with Sue and Chris in July 2014 for one weekend.  The experience was most excellent!  They were super hosts, home-made breakfasts were prepared lovingly by Sue each morning.  We found out that Sue and Chris are both food and wine lovers so we all had a lot in common.  Their room is perfect for a couple - we could come and go as we pleased without worrying about disturbing them.  A short anecdote about them that illustrates their generosity - I forgot a few clothing items in the room after checking out and getting on our way back to the mainland (to Duncan).  Chris hand-delivered them to the farm that we were staying at in Duncan.  They insisted that Chris had an appointment in Duncan - we'll never know if that was a "white lie", but we were caught speechless by this act of kindness.  Chris connected with the owners of the farm (Fairburn Farmstead, in case anyone is curious...another fabulous stay) so hopefully the trip was not for naught for them.  Thanks again to both Sue and Chris.  

^{Sue and Chris were wonderful hosts. The space is nice and separate from the main house, and tastefully decorated. It surrounded by a relaxing garden, with a friendly cat and dog to boot. By far, the best part of the experience was Sue's unique touch with breakfast. Each day was different, and we were sure to start the day off on the right foot. We would definitely stay here again.}

<sup>On our recent visit to SSI we stayed at the Carriage House B&B for two weeks, we were there to meet and visit our new granddaughter.

Sue and Chris were wonderful hosts.  Our room was very cozy and well supplied with everything we could possibly need.  Each morning there was something hot and delicious to go with our coffee.  Sue surprised us with fresh, hot muffins, scones, quiche, custard fruit tarts and Sue's homemade 'seed' bread with butter and jam!!

Our hosts were friendly and helpful.  They made us the most lovely breakfasts and were very attentive to our dietary needs.  The room was nicely decorated and spacious.  We enjoyed the pretty garden area for guests.  Highly recommend for sightseeing, and a romantic getaway.
